I learned about this several years ago at the dawning of my
automobile knowledge. Towed a car because of problems with starting.
$50+ tow to get a bit of wire brushing on the battery post and a
wrench on the bolt holding it on.

They make some nice battery terminal brushes that are cheap and work
wonders for posts to make sure they're nice and clean and corrosion
free. When ever I lay hands on a car for service, I scrape the posts
clean to be certain they're on good shape.
