I just checked my WWII reenactment sources:
www.atthefront.com - Out of stock... They're always out of stock. I don't know how they stay in business!
www.lostbattalions.com - Looks like they don't have 'em!
www.omahas.com - WWII USMC MOSQUITO HEADNET: I think you could cut off the net part & use the cover
www.whatpriceglory.com - Reproduction: USMC Helmet Cover. Made in HBT fabric that matches the original. Reversible. No slits, no USMC insignia, no markings. $22

Subject: Re: [MV] USMC Camouflage - WWII
Dear Listers,
my friend Henry has a Willys Jeep and he intends to paint & mark it as a USMC
jeep - Pacific theatre, 1944. So far, so good.
He has managed to find some original WWII USMC clothing but despite his best
efforts, he can't manage to locate a USMC WWII cammo helmet cover (I think
it's the "spotty" pattern cover)..
Has anyone got one of these for sale? Or anyone know who may have one?
Thanks in advance....
Kind regards....
Ken
