When I researched this topic awhile back, I found similar statements. To
the letter, I would say that one could drive an 80k lb loaded tractor
trailer with air brakes, if only used to haul personal belongings. However,
I doubt that most LEO's, especially state police, would agree with me if
pulled over. Then, as someone said in an earlier post, can you afford to
fight it in court?
