With the following riders:
1) Water used must be as pure as can be conveniently aquired.
2) NEVER put any non-ferrous parts in it. eg zinc data plates or
carburetor parts. They will disappear.
3) High tensile bolts etc will lose their threads real quick as the
acid will eat into them much faster than normal steel. If they do
survive they will be of lower strength than something made of plastic.
4) Wear gloves. If you are at all prone to migraines, the fermenting
molasses will give you one pretty quick.
5) Rate of rust removal is temperature dependant. The warmer the
weather the better.
