For the guys wanting information on my WW2 original Government 5 gallon cans
of 24087......
In a week or so..maybe a bit more...I'll be opening a can to shoot my GPW.
As some of you know, the original WW2 color was pretty dark. After being in
the sun a year or 2 -- it faded to a lighter color. This "faded" color is
what the manufacturers copied years later and is what you buy today. My
original paint is pretty darn dark. I know some guys asked for color
samples..and I will be glad to shoot a sheet of cardstock and send them to
guys.. Give me your names and addresses and I'll send you a sample. I have a
guy in Denver that wants to produce the paint and sell it - both in spray
cans and gallons. Should be a good item, since all the paint available today
is the lighter -- WRONG color..
