List
I just went and picked up my M35 from having the pump
turned up. It turns out that the pump was turned down
and the engine was only running an estimated 100 hp.
Curly turned up the pump to run at about 160-170 hp.
He did not bypass the compensator because he thought
it would allow too much fuel. The difference is like
night and day. There is a little smoke now when under
load but not as much as I thought there would be. I
was told to watch the coolant temp but I shouldn't
have a problem with overheating. The truck is a lot
easier to drive now and has more than enough power for
what I need. It's too bad I waited until now to do
this.
