6.2 or 6.5 Liter Engine

I was told from the previous owner of the Humvee that I bought, that the
engine was replaced with a new 6.2L diesel. But the cover on top of the
rockers says 6.5L. Are covers for the 6.2 & 6.5 the same? If not, problems
solved. If they are interchangeable, how can I tell which engine I have?
