I've got some of the AS-3900/3900A bases at work along with a selection of
the SINCGARS whips for them, and while they're shorter than their MX-6707
base cousins, they're still the two piece type. That's not to say a
single-component SINCGARS mast doesn't exist - only that I've yet to come
across one.
