Doug and listers,
Here's something which may be of help. It's from the British Army's "Kit"
magazine:-
"Many units will be familiar with, and indeed subscribers to - the United
Kingdom National Codification Bureau's (UK-NCB) Item of Supply Information System
(ISIS) CD-Rom service. This well-established and popular service provides all
the current NATO stock numbers (NSN's) on four disks, which are sent to
subscribers by post and updated on a quarterly basis. users will now be interested
to learn that, with effect from 1 October 2003, UK NCB have introduced
web-based access to ISIS, not only on the MOD Intranet but also on the World-Wide Web.
As with the current CD system, access to the new web service will be by
subscription only, but users will notice that the look and feel of the product has
undergone a bit of a facelift. The main benefits of this system are two-fold:
1. The information on the web will be updated once a week.
2. Users will have direct access from their own PC.
The website will be found at www.ncb.mod.uk.
Hope this helps - a bit - Good luck (you'll need it !)
Kind regards....
Ken
