Hi Bruce ,
At 25 Amps , I would think it`s a dynamo , not an
alternator . An alternator with a built in regulator will save much in
rewiring . B+ to battery {or main starter cable } ,B- to frame , Ind or
similar. through warning light {2-5 watt bulb } to ignition switch . Job
done ! B+ to battery should be heavy cable , 84/.03 -42 Amp, or
120/0.3 -60amp . B- may not be there as it`s internally connected , but
should be as B+ if needed .
