Hi listers.
Lots of knowledge on this list. Here's my problem. I want to flat tow my
civilian version of the Chenowth Fast Attack Vehicle (military dune buggy)
but it is uncopperative going around corners. Front wheels do not want to
return to straight position. This is both with the steering tied and untied.
Some of my own questions are; should the steering be tied or not? Should I
put the steering in a more locked position? Any other imput would be
appreciated. I have been looking at the idea of a tow bar that will actually
lift the front end for towing but my mechanic brother thinks it will put too
much strain and the Chenowth frame. Keep in mind both these ideas are for
short distances. For long distance I plan on getting (borrow, rent, buy) a
proper vehicle trailer. Any thoughts??????????????
Thanks.
Dan
