Chemical solvent, impact, heat, impact.
Spray a little kerosene or "penetrating oil" on the threads.
Whack the ends of the lugs with a BMF hammer. (Protect the threads with an
extra nut at the outer end)
Use the blue-tip wrench, but be careful you don't ignite the oil, and blow a
nut through your eyeball. (I've seen it happen)
The object of the exercise is to get the rust molecules to let go of each
other.
