When I was at Bovington Tank Museum in 1999 they were having no end of
trouble with their M60 as they could only buy "low sulfur" diesel due
to the new British laws. It was suffering from a severe case of no
guts and wouldn't climb the knife edge. I don't know if they managed
to re-tune it or not to run on the low sulfur stuff. I do know they
said it was incredible the difference between the 2 types of diesel.
