MORNING ALL,
RE , FACET fuel pumps .
In the UK most diesel shops can get if not
stocked !
Though not intended for in tank / submersible mounting , they are solid
state devices and therefore I can see no reason why it could not be used
this way ! As they are bolt mounted some ingenuity may be needed to avoid
fuel leaks from bolt holes and the wire has to be got in but not
insurmountable problems .The data sheet states that the pump should be
mounted no more than 12" above the tank bottom , they obviously blow better
than they suck , but when mounting on the LARC I had to be about 18" , still
worked fine .
Dimensions for those interested !
3.25" wide , 2.5" high length 5" including the spouts , elbows can
reduce this to 4"
Hope this helps Noel
PS What do they cost in the US ?
