Hi Darrell ,
This could be serious bad news . Was the oil level ok to
start with ? If yes then it would seem you are suffering from oil dilution
by fuel {hopefully }. Has the engine been left idleing for long periods ?
If so then this will on some engines especially worn ones let unburnt fuel
will go past the rings and into the sump {oil pan }, if not then you have
other problems . Poor injectors is your best hope , badly set or worn valves
, head gasket , worn rings , the list goes on . Simply put fuel is getting
into the engine and not being burnt .
Is the oil grey ? If so then it`s contaminated with water ! Head gasket ,
cracked head or block problems .
