Gentlemen, please do not misunderstand me, I am an internet junkie myself.
I don't have cable TV but I have cable on my internet connection.
The internet is why I am a MV collector. Before I got hooked up I didn't
realize so much military vehicle stuff was out there in private hands. The
internet is where I have met all of you folks. I have always wanted to own
MV's but didn't know where to look. Now at the click of a mouse I can find
almost anything I want. I shop weekly on eBay. I sell on eBay. I love the
internet (a tear is swelling in my left eye right now).
When properly done eBay has a wealth of goods out there. I have seen
several people here in the list talk about getting shafted. I have been
very fortunate not to get cheated too bad so far. It's a jungle out there
and eBay can be a rip off at times, but yet I still keep looking.
As for selling, I have sold M35 parts on eBay that I could not have moved
anywhere else. Long live eBay. Having said, that one can over do the
internet auction scene if not careful. A few ways to know you have spent
too much time on eBay:
1. You sign you name with only the second letter capitalized.
2. You brag about the color of your star (mine is turquoise)
3. You worry constantly about "negative feedback".
4. You spend more through paypal than you do on your mortgage.
Enjoy eBay and don't forget to eat.
