to drift just a tad more, friend of mine, city police officer, was in
another town to pick up his wife's pistol that had been left for
modification, when he saw a pistol that he wanted, because of some sort of
glitch in system, there he stood in full uniform, side arm incuded, complete
identification and system refused to let him purchase a pistol, no reason
given. - left the store, came home went to another store and purchased gun
without problem "and was cheaper at second store"

We're drifting here but I will say one more thing here about the guns, cops,
concealment and FL. Fl gives conceal carry permits. If you have one of
these,
there is no 3 day cooling off period to buy a handgun. On the other hand, I

a deputy sheriff carry guns every day but if I buy another one, I have to
wait 3 days! Go figure! BTW guys, if you ever want to Assault or Rob me, I
never
carry a gun off duty!
