If the government wants to get me for something I'm sure they'd find a
better reason than eBay.
Remember that just because there is a law on the books doesn't make it
enforceable. Also doesn't mean that the government will actually try to
enforce it. There are tons of things that the average person does on a
daily basis that are technically illegal, but not generally enforced.
The thought that the government would try to go after someone, in
particular me, for something like what I've been talking about on eBay is
laughably small. I've got a much better chance of getting killed by a
shark attack in an inland waterway :-)
