According to the latest laws/rules/authorities/whatever:
Ammo cans have to be crushed before being surplused.
Any and all textiles have to be destroyed and can't be surplused.

If we can't have things as harmless as an ammo can and a uniform, how can we get a dangerous UH-1?
The "authorities" are so concerned about stuff getting into the wrong places and causing fatalities; effective Jan. 1, 2005 any and all .50 cal BMG firearms are banned here in CA! I don't mean to be rude... I think I just need to move!

MV request: I'm dying for an M38A1 ***dual-channel*** military waterpump. Been looking for over a year and a half. Can't buy it, can't find it, can't locate one. Any help would be great. I'd even buy one that needs to be rebuilt with the inside all rusted out. I'm thinking of even offering a finders fee of sorts. I have things to trade!

As much as I hate to have anything de-mil'd I think if a plan or set of
specifications
were set up such that the parts could be made non functional without destroying
their
appearance, then this would satisfy the various authorities that are concered
about
stuff getting into the wrong places and causing fatalities.
