We just bought a m-1008 through LESO. I think it is an 85. Had two
questions:
First: there is a radio set up I guess in the bed. It has a shelving unit
in the front with a junction box of some sort in front of that. That
junction box is about a foot tall and has a bunch screw on cable connections
with caps and there is a cable that runs to a connection on the side of the
bed. Is that some sort of setup for radios?
Second: On the truck we got the gov paid around 31K for this one while some
of the others the gov paid 15k for. (Acquisition price) What is the
difference? They all are 1 ¼ ton right?
As a side note we got a sweet 1009 as well. It looks like they ran it
through the shop before they turned it in. New tire, tie rod, shocks……..
The one we are replacing came with far more “bonus” rust than I realized
with I got it.
Thanks for the info, in advance
