It is a non -issue. A 12-volt battery of 6 cells, connected to another
12-volt battery of 6 cells, is electrically the same as a 24-volt battery of
12 cells. The problem arises when the two batteries are DISCHARGED
unequally. Charging two equivalent (emphasis on equivalent) batteries is
perfectly OK with a 24-volt charger. apb
