Everette,
I replaced the brake cylinders on my M38A1 and was able to get the parts at NAPA using the parts as
listed from Dennis Spence's book. Master= 2796, Front=16534, Rear=16535.
The parts manual doesn't show different numbers for the wheel cylinders on the M-170.
You DO NOT have to pull the rear wheel axles to replace the brake parts, and I wouldn't attempt it
unless you have reason to, AND the proper puller.
For adjusting the brakes I made a tool using 1/8" x 3/4" steel, then ground slits in each end. One
slit parallel with the metal and the other slit at right angles to the metal.
