Hi Mike ,
There are many ways of getting the desired result , the only
difference is the trouble and expense !
#1 Change the bulbs for 24V when needed !
#2 Series a second 12V bulb in line to act as a dropping resistor and then
use as normal on 24V .
#3 More robust version of above using dropping resistors .
#4 A system of relays and centre tapped24V system giving 12V along with
recharging the earth side battery to redress the battery imbalance .
#5 As above but using a 24V to 12V dropping inverter to avoid battery
imbalance .
#6 A separate light board on 24V that can be used on ANY vehicle you tow !
Personally I would recommend #1 or #6 , I have this problem with an mv
Landrover .#2 , #3 , #4 and #5 whilst easiest to use {on a second
socket }require varying degrees of complexity in wiring terms and #5 would
also be expensive .
