A re-post, concerning putting big-truck highway steer tires on an
M35. I went to 11.00x20, but 9.00x20 would be alike. These are
only my opinions, to they are worth what you pay for them.

Here's a short report on the 11.00x20 radials I mounted on the
M35 fronts. The first thing I noticed was much easier steering in
the parking lot. The next thing was that the tires seemed to
'stick' to the road better, and give more responsive steering.
Going over bumps on the highway, the truck was less likely to be
'deflected' to one side or another, and the ride was a bit softer
up front.
Here are more comments and details, and some pictures of the
aftermath of my sacreligious act.
After I do some trips, I'll post more about how these feel.

After driving on slick wet concrete roads, I can say that these
'big truck' steer tires are far superior for cornering/turning on
wet pavement, than the original NDTs.
(I hate to use the word 'cornering' when speaking of M35
handling. I also hate to use the word 'handling' Maybe 'behavior'
would be better)
