I have started to build a drop-hitch (term?) for the M35. Removed
the pintle hook assy which is attached with two very tight 1 1/8"
bolts (and a huge maybe 2.5" bolt in back). The purpose is to
allow me to tow a 'regular' trailer. I plan to extend an existing
small generator trailer maybe 3' and then have room for my
4-wheeler on it.
Obviously the two bolts were good enough to attach the pintle
hook, so I would think they will do for the new hitch.
Anyway, I'll post some pictures soon.
