What is the most weight one could safely haul on the road with a CUCV? I
went to the local rock yard yesterday and got my wife some rock for the
driveway. They weighed me and said I had a ton and a half on. I drove
down the highway fifty miles an hour and had no problem. I just wonder
what the
thing could actually carry?

***** I believe they are rated for only 5/4 tons ( 2,500 pounds ?)
Putting in over that amount then driving donw the highway endangering
