an ABC type extinguisher will destroy anything electrical. A BC type
extinguisher will not (although it's a pain to clean the dust out of the
connections, it doesn't bond to the metal and permanently destroy any
possibilities of conducting juice again). Although it's a little more
difficult to get just a BC, it will save what's left of the truck for a
rebuild after a fire.
