I'm with Sonny on this one. When the intention of withholding
information is to deceive someone into paying something they wouldn't
ordinarily pay, that's called swindling in my book. The motivation,
intent, and desired outcome is no different than outright theft. This
guy knows full well that if he properly notifies people that he is
going to rip them off on the shipping that people won't bid. Ergo...
he's a crook. Just one that knows how to play the game.
BTW, doesn't eBay have rules against excessive shipping charges? I
could have sworn this was the case years ago. I know they won't allow
sellers to charge extra for processing fees (like PayPal). So in fact
the guy might be in violation of eBay policies.
