Subject: Re: [MV] Humvee's for sale Q's for the list....
Hello from Atlanta GA 30306. Are these vehicles the same ones from the U.S
Marine sale that keep trading hands between dealers, and getting more and
more expensive each time (like the guns or antiques at a show that move from
dealer to dealer booth, and get more expensive each transaction???). With
all due respect to our esteemed vendors and fellow collectors, how in this
day and age can a vehicle that is not supposed to be sold to the common
citizen be sold legally to someone who has an "inside track"? Are these
sold through European DRMO's?
I am not in the market for a Humvee, but I am concerned that these $20K+
vehicles are not legally falling through cracks in the surplus sales system.
Any thoughts or facts to present, fellow listees?
Regards,
Mike Nichols
