I have a magazine here at work somewhere which has an extensive article on
"Sahara" along with some then-and-now shots of the actual filming locations
and a number of pics of artifacts from the film and its mechanical actors
they found while exploring (tank engine spark plug and some bottles and
spent casings from what I recall.) If anyone's interested I'll try and dig
it up if I get a spare moment.
