How old is too old? or what the max number of years out of date would you eat? Do they ever get unsafe to eat or just get to tasting bad?

Of course C rations from WWII are worth too much to eat as a collectable item. Does anyone know if Vietnam era rations are collectable yet?

Subject: [MV] OT: MREs

Does anyone know where a good place to get good MREs?
When buying, what should I beware off? I know some of
the later ones a lot better than the old ones from
years back. I want to buy some to keep stocked up for
emergency use such as in case of natural disasters or
terrorist attacks.

Thanks
Mark
