"Shaved door handles"?
My dear boy, no-one in the hobby uses door handles anymore, shaved or
hirsute.
One simply reaches in and unlatches the door from the inside.
With no handles at all, expect another .0005 mpg increase.

PS: You have, I assume, Armor-All'd your wiper blades, and starched your
canvas, have you not?
