Sounds like a good idea but did you confirm the info or just forward it? It could just be urban legend. For one thing Amoco and BP have merged haven't they? I have also heard that gas comes to my part of the country by barge and that it is off loaded into multiple brands of trucks.
Still, if enough people did it, it would get their attention. I wouldn't limit it to just Saudis oil but all middle east oil.

If a whole lot of people did it, it might just shorten the war and end up in fewer MV's getting sent over and more to surplus some day.
