What controls the water in fuel light then?

Subject: [MV] WTB CUCV FUEL PRESSURE SENSOR
If you can't get a sensor Jim,
don't laugh, I carefully tapped the fuel hole, under the sensor,
with a 10-32 tap.
Cleaned it out, then used a 10-32 stainless pan head screw
with "O" ring.
Then spray the sensor seat with cosmoline in case
you ever wanted to reinstall the sensor at a later date.
I didn't want the smooth sensor seat finish to corrode.
Have done this on 3 filter bases so far. No leaks.
You have just enough metal there to tap into.
In the CUCV, the sensor wiring goes to the diagnostic
connector thats below the dash.
It isn't used for anything else.
The civi application does wire this sensor with the water in fuel light.
CUCV not.
Just an idea.
TH.
>Anyone on the list have a NOS fuel pressure
sensor for a Standyne fuel filter housing for
sale? Preferably with the gasket and o-ring.
