More likely to be the M8 series of 4.5-inch rockets. They were used a
lot in the Pacific. Launchers included the M10, M12, M14, T27, T31, T33,
T36, T38, T46, T47, T57, T58, T60 & T61.
They were seen also in Europe mounted on jimmies.
