A few years ago a large trucking company - over 1000 truck tractors was my
customer and they had a system where they drained engine oil out of engine
caught it in a special container and they had a machine that pumped diesel
from truck fuel tank mixed with engine oil at a specified rate and put back
in fuel tank. The people who ran lube station would set this up and while
they were refilling engine with new oil this machine would complete its
task, meaning that there was no delay in getting truck back on the road with
new engine oil and a few extra gallons of fuel.
They also had machine to drain radiator catch used coolant pump it into
holding tank where it was tested for strength, filtered, new coolant added
as required and replaced in radiator.
