As in the oil filter or the Fuel filter ?
Either one would clean out a lot of gunk in the fuel system or engine, I
imagine you were talking about the fuel filter and I could see how it would
really clean out the pump and injectors, and lines in the system.

Subject: [MV] ATF added to fuel
speaking on ATF added to fuel - I have a friend who has several vehicles
with diesel engines from 1/2 ton pickup to 80 ton tow truck with cummins
engine, I have observed ever time he changes oil he fills new fuel filter
with ATF before he installs it - when asked why his reply is -- fellow who
taught me to work on diesels did this and never had any fuel problems so I
do the same - does not cost much and makes me feel better
Anyone else familiar with this?????
