Passing through Canada

Is there any problem with bringing a trailed MV through Canada? I'm in NY,
and looking to pick something up in Michigan. It would be quickest to run
through Canada (402, 403, 401). Without guns or radio equipment in the MV,
do they treat it differently than a trailered car?
