Well, I should of expanded on that a bit, what I have
seen are more than one rated pilot going in on the
purchase of a machine and flying it uder an
experimental license. If there are two rated pilots up
front then I think there is a gray line wether or not
the 2nd person is classified as a passenger. also
regardless of the law, FAA law is bent all the time,
some times to the point of being almost broken but
it's never enforced, pilots know this and get away
with it. Heck, I was flying passengers when I had my
student piolts license.
