Posting for a friend. (sorry for any duplicates due to the cross posting)
WWII WACO CG15-A for sale or trade. It is 65% restored. It would take
3-4 men aprox 100 hours to complete for a fantastic early Airborne
Static Display. My intent was to take this glider without wings or
tail section and place it on a custom trailer and show it at Air
Shows and Collector events. I have all the microfilm from the
Smithsonian Air and Space Museum for complete restoration if needed.
The CG15-A model is extremely rare because it was the last model the
US produced before the war ended. The CG4-A was the first model and
this CG15-A was the last. This makes it more rare because there were
less of them. All the hard work has been done on it. I have put in a
new floor in the cargo compartment, done all the very difficult
welding in the cargo area and the complete fuselage, put on the
wheels, replaced the nose winch with a new one and have married up
the fuselage with the cargo compartment.
