The instructions I quoted came from the can... the can does state what
thinners to use. The mixing proportions on the other hand were not, and I
do not understand why NO paint manufacturer has this on their can. I did
have to dig a little into the MSDS sheets (posted on their site) to find the
breakdowns of what is in their thinners.
I do agree about not having time to call for every little jerrycan paintjob.
BTW... I have enjoyed this discussion that is actually on topic, and not
politics and such... :-) and in the end, I agree that I probably will not
use Aervoe again, just out of fear.... my next paintjob will most likely be
the deuce and it would really suck to do that twice!

If you don't get instructions contrary to what you've always been doing with
Industrial Enamel, it's somewhat hard to 'go against' them. Not all of us
have time to call the manufacturer every time we want to paint a jerrycan.
