CIB (Paragraph 2-6, Army Regulation 600-8-22) As the
regs say, "A recipient must be personally present and
under hostile fire while serving in an assigned
infantry or special forces primary duty, in a unit
actively engaged in ground combat with the enemy."
The kicker here (I believe) was you had to have an MOS
of infantry or special forces.
CAB - The principal eligibility criterion is that the
individual must have participated in a bona fide
ground or surface combat fire or action during which
he was under enemy fire and his performance while
under fire was satisfactory. NOTE: Open to all
branches.
