The invasion of Normandy had begun. Despite the appalling weather, true to
form and typical of the longest day, we are off to Omaha beach in a Diamond
T 980 prime mover and then along to Utah and Ste Mere Eglise. Despatches
from the beaches will of course be subject to censorship.

Subject: [MVlist] Yes EUC no DOT
The other day I received a letter wanting to know the whereabouts and status
(with name of new owners, if any) of some of the items received from G/L
that the EUC covered (no trucks this time). While this is not too unusual (I
had have DRMS ask before) the source of this request is a surprise. It came
from a Special Agent from the Defense Logistic Agency Criminal Investigation
Activity (DCIA). While my butt is covered on this, those of you that has
bought and sold ECU items might want to start hunting your paperwork up.
Good luck, Wayne
