Hello Everyone...
I wanted to let you all know that in direct response to recent
subscriber requests, we have added a few new features to the MILDOCS NSN
Search page.
PRINTABLE FORMAT
Now, when you search for an NSN number, the results page will now
include a "View Printable Format" link with a printer icon next to it.
Clicking on that link opens the selected NSN data a new window in your
web browser which print out nicely on a standard 8-1/2" x 11" page.
ITEM AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE?
We also added a little feature that tells you if the NSN number is
listed by any vendors on Google's Froogle web site. If it is, the
"AVAILABLE" line will have a "YES" next to it. If your NSN item doesn't
show this feature because it is not listed in Froogle, try a test search
for "6545-00-922-1200" which is a vehicle first aid kit.
This NSN Availability feature will be expanded over the next few months
into an "NSN Marketplace" to allow those of you who are dealers to list
all your products that have NSN numbers with MILDOCS and allow people to
find your items and contact you to purchase the items, and also to allow
people to put in NSN numbers of items they are looking for and other
users and dealers can supply those items.
Please give these features a try and let me know if we need to tweak it
