Actually I got plenty of good info. People have a bad habit of not posting GOOD DATA on the list. It does get archived, after all. However not all the info I was sent matches. Perhaps the discrepancies are from different manufacturers of the M416? All the measurements are close, within a couple inches... But 570 lbs vs 670 lbs?

Bad news is the shipping quotes I've been getting are $1,500~$3,000 to ship it. I think I'll pick it up myself, it's only halfway across the country. =/

take off the drawbar and the wheels and tires and have it shipped by pallet and it will be classified at a lower rate and cubage.. RAM

62" wide, 7' 10-1/2" long IF you pull the lunette off, figure 9' long with the lunette attached. Loading is easy if the shipper has a trailer with a hydraulic tailgate, just put one tire on the gate with the trailer sideways, hand the lunette up to the driver, rotate the trailer so both wheels are on the tailgate then raise the tailgate, roll the trailer inside the trailer and tie it down in the front. Removing the lunetter MIGHT just let the driver wedge the trailer in sideways which will make it behave nicely on the road.

Aaron, by the book, total length is 108 1/2", total width is 60 3/4", total height is 43 1/4". Weight is shown to be 670 pounds.

MV List,

I may be getting an M416 trailer soon. I need to know height, length,
width, and weight for shipping quotes.

According to Coleman's surplus website, they are 6' L x 4' W, & 550 lbs.
Is that accurate? I think that the 6x4 part is just the size of the
tub... I'm sure someone here that owns one would really know better.

I know it's the wrong trailer for my jeep. I've been looking for an M100
trailer for some time... Seems like I'll never find one that not
absurdly over priced.
$500+ is about the lowest I've seen, but those have been civy-converted
to a 2" ball, 12V, usually missing the box, landing leg, painted the
wrong color, non-original body repairs or conversions. Basically a
carcass that needs a complete rebuild/repair/restoration. There's one on
ebay that a guy is asking $750 for, for example. I guess for a civy
trailer, that's a deal though. From the MV viewpoint, it's overpriced
junk.
$650~750 is common for ones that need varying grades of restorations
$1,000+ for ones that are good to go. Eh, that's just too much, ya know?
