Wet pavement traction, deuce tires

I have not seen any of the studies but I can give results of my personal
study on the matter of traction on wet pavement and standard issue NDT tires
on M35 with 90% tread, sudden stops on wet pavement can cause muscle
contraction on part of driver that is next to seat, as rear of truck tries
to get in front.

Further when driven on hard packed clay roads -or wet gumbo- there is a
definite side slip when mud is hard enough that tires cannot cut ruts in
it.

Never had enough nerve to drive fast on crooked road when pavement wet.

Been there done that
