I need to know how to get the key cylinder assembly out of the steering
column of a CJ10A tug.
I have the column stripped down, wheel, lock plate, turn signal switch,
etc. already removed. But there is no retaining bolt/screw holding the
cylinder assembly, like I'm used to seeing on other GM columns.
What is holding the cylinder assembly in? How do I release it for
replacement?
I'm having to replace the cylinder after some would-be thieves broke
off the outer 'ear' ring and messed up the lock cylinder with a
screwdriver while attempting to steal it.
Thanks in advance.
John
