Military Ambulance 1980 Dodge 4 liter (dually)

Hi,
I picked this rig up a few years back. I don't have the resources to
restore it properly and am curious if it is the sort of thing that
someone would want to restore.
I am looking for a buyer to get me out of my small investment. I paid
short money for the ambulance and invested the same amount in the front
brakes and axle repairs. Would consider a swap for something camo..... :)
The ambulance has under 10K indicated on the odometer and runs well.
The rust is starting to attack the box. I have all the fiberglass for
inside the cab roof where I have been treating water leaks. The cab
metal and doors are good.
I just let the inspection sticker expire at the end of June due to lack
of use rather than any mechanical concerns. It sits in my field on a
layer of roofing rubber to prevent moist grass from reaching the frame.
It starts and drives well!
The winch works well and out pulls my kubota with ease.
This seems to have airforce blue paint under the fire department paint.
The photo is retouched to hide the fire department logos that remain on
the side of the box and doors.
It has a 360, automatic, nonfunctional air conditioning.
If I can't find it a new home, I will likely follow my friends advice
and take the sawsall to the box and replace the cab with something solid.
It seems like a rare beast as it has factory duals.
Any interest or advice, please let me know. Should I try ebay?
