Hi all,
This is sad...
There is a 1941 Dodge WC (looks like a WC7) in the auction guide for the
upcoming Kruse Fall Auction in Auburn, IN. Here is the listing from the
Kruse website (www.kruse.com):
Lot#: 2423
Year: 1941
Item: Dodge W C Command Military Vehicle
1941 Dodge Command Car with 468 BB Chevy turbo 400 automatic with 4
wheel disc brakes, power steering, and beachwood top. Everything new and
professionally restored. This is a spectacular attention getting vehicle
& very rare!
* ENGINE - 8
* CU IN - 468 BB
* TRANS TYPE - Auto
* EXT COLOR - Green
No pictures on the website. Those with access to the auction guide get
to see the OD color paint with military stenciling on hood, sides, and
bumpers, and correct Beechwood canvas. They also get to see the 4"
lift, oversized offroad tires, bumper mounted fog lights, high gloss
clearcoat, and the deep chrome rims.
Very rare, indeed. Thank goodness. Who does this sort of thing?
Cheers,
Dan
