16" tires are not the problem, it's the rims. SAMS CLUB, PEERLESS
TIRE, etc will not touch a military split rim. Nor do they have
civilian rims in stock that fit an M116 lug nut pattern.
He's in the process of working with the [MV] First Iowa Cavalry for
assistance.
